Terms of Use
The short version: play fairly, treat people respectfully, do not upload illegal or harmful material, and protect your account.
1. Eligibility and consent
You must be at least 16 years old to create a ChessMondo account. If applicable law requires parent or guardian permission, you must have it. On first account use, you will be asked once to confirm your age eligibility and accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
2. Your account
You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for keeping access to your email/Google account secure. Do not impersonate another person, evade a suspension or use automation to abuse the service.
3. Community content
You keep ownership of content you create. You give ChessMondo a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, resize, display and distribute that content only as needed to operate, secure and present ChessMondo features. You must have the rights needed to upload the content.
4. Prohibited behaviour and content
The Community Guidelines form part of these Terms. Harassment, hate speech, sexual exploitation, CSAM/CSAE, credible threats, illegal content, scams, spam and serious abuse are prohibited. Adult/18+ sexual content, pornographic content, sexual services, sexualized images, and any child sexual abuse or exploitation content are not allowed anywhere in ChessMondo, including posts, profile content, club chats, game chats, usernames, images or shared links.
5. Reporting, blocking and moderation
Users can report posts, profiles, game opponents, game chat messages, club members and club chat messages. A report must include a real reason and a short explanation; reports without a reason are not sent. To reduce abuse, a user can report the same exact post, game session, game chat message or club chat message only once, and can report the same player only once every 24 hours across ChessMondo. Reports may include system context such as the target username, room code, game mode, recent moves, post preview, image URL or the reported chat message so administrators can review proof without needing to ask the user again. False, abusive, revenge or spam reports are prohibited. Users can also block players for their own account. We may remove content, restrict features, suspend an account, apply a security/network restriction for serious abuse, or permanently delete an account where appropriate.
6. Appeals
If you believe a moderation action was incorrect, contact dragongamesstudioofficial@gmail.com with your username and a short explanation. Do not send passwords or one-time codes.
7. Purchases
Optional digital products or subscriptions may be offered. Android in-app digital purchases are intended to use the payment system required by Google Play. Web payments may use Stripe. Prices, renewal details and cancellation information must be shown at checkout.
8. Service availability
ChessMondo may change, maintain or temporarily interrupt features. We do not promise uninterrupted service, a particular matchmaking result, rating outcome or permanent availability of a free hosting tier.
9. Account deletion
You may permanently delete your account. A completed deletion permanently removes your account and associated account-owned personal data from the server database and configured media storage as described in the Privacy Policy. ChessMondo does not intentionally keep a hidden “deleted account” profile after the deletion process succeeds. See Account Deletion.
10. Intellectual property complaints
If content appears to infringe your copyright or other rights, email dragongamesstudioofficial@gmail.com with the content location, the right you own or represent, and enough information to review the request.
11. Changes
These Terms may be updated when ChessMondo changes or legal/platform requirements change. Material changes may require renewed consent.
12. Matchmaking and computer-controlled players
When a multiplayer lobby does not fill within a reasonable waiting period, ChessMondo may use computer-controlled players to complete or continue a match and reduce waiting times. Their use may vary by game mode, player availability, region or service conditions. By using multiplayer features, you understand and agree that some participants in a match may be computer-controlled.
